A Professional Accountancy Organisation is the recognised body that regulates, represents and develops accountants in a country or region. PAOs set professional standards and ethics, run qualifications and continuing professional development, and act in the public interest. In Kenya, that role is fulfilled by ICPAK.
The PAOs page is a dedicated reference and resource area. It carries carefully selected source material from the journal — including permanent access to the May–June 2024 issue resources — covering topics such as professional standards, ethics, education, financial reporting, audit and assurance.
Yes. The resources published on the PAOs page are permanent: they are not replaced by newer issues and are never moved into the magazine archive, so you can always return to the same source documents.
ICPAK works with regional and international bodies that represent the accountancy profession across Africa and globally. For current programmes, member services and partnership information, visit www.icpak.com or contact the institute directly.
No. The website and its articles are open to all readers. ICPAK membership matters for the printed journal's circulation to members and for Continuing Professional Development (CPD), not for reading the online articles.
Membership applications, renewals and member records are handled by ICPAK directly. Visit www.icpak.com for membership requirements and procedures, or contact the institute using the details on our Contact page.
Reading the journal is a valuable way to keep your technical knowledge current, and each issue highlights ICPAK's seminars, conferences and training — the official channels through which CPD hours are earned and recorded. For your specific CPD status, contact ICPAK through www.icpak.com.
